Following the IGCSE syllabus, this course examines some of the greatest works in human literature, typically from the last 100 years – though classics such as Shakespeare are almost always included. Students read, research, analyze, and synthesize the texts such as “A Raisin in the Sun”, “A Separate Peace”, “Cry, Beloved Country”, and 20th century poetry. Students must show and examine their understanding through discussion, academic writing, and mock IGCSE exams.
